There are signs that the seasons are finally starting to shift, and the bloom of the Yarra Valley’s Cherry Hill Orchards blossom is a clear indicator that there are warmer and brighter days ahead.
The cherry farm located in Victoria’s famed wine region has announced that they’ll be welcoming visitors to the blooming of their cherry trees this September. Kicking off on Saturday 18 September, The Cherry Hill Blossom Festival is a floral-heavy event that will give visiting Victorians a little taste of Japan with the colourful bursts of cherry blossom flowering across the orchard.
Alongside the floral attraction, there’ll be a selection of cherry-based drinks and ice cream, as well as live tunes and fine weather (here’s hoping). This year the festival will also include the option for a posh picnic, a selection of drinks and food perfect for planting yourself on the orchard and watching nature do its thing. If you’re looking for something a little more daring, then you can opt for the sunrise balloon session, wake up with the sun and watch it welcome the Yarra Valley and the blossom to a brand new day.
Running from Saturday 18 September until Sunday 3 October the Cherry Hill Blossom Festival will be pulling out all the stops, you can all the info including tickets over here.
The AstraZeneca vaccine is now available to Victorians aged 18 – 39, find out more here.
