Clear your weekend plans. We don't care if it was birthday drinks with your parents. This Saturday and Sunday, Welcome To Thornbury are throwing a festival dedicated to all suspicious meats cooked in glutinous rice skins. AKA dim sims and dumplings.
(If you can think of a better way to sum up dimmies and dumplings, we're all ears)
Last year was the first instalment of this mystery meat party, and it went off. Makes sense the WTT guys would want to do it all again in 2018. The line-up is classic too: Pierogi Pierogi will be there slinging—well—sh*t tonnes of Pierogi. Woking Amazing will be rocking vegan dim sims (what are these and why haven’t we heard of them before?) and Curry Up Now will be blowing people’s minds with a curry-inspired dumpling.
Like last year, The Brunswick Mess Hall will also be on-site, hosting an exclusive pop-up and selling their famous crispy pork gyoza and steamed dumplings by the truck-load. You WILL get soy sauce on your new white t-shirt.
Dump Clubs of Melbourne. Your time has come.
