If you're planning on cosying up and leaving home only for the most impressive events this winter you're in luck, because Firelight Festival is set to return bigger and brighter than ever.
Sprawling across Docklands from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 June, the flame-filled festival is promising to add some heat to your winter plans this season with fiery installations, exhilarating performances, live music, and pop-up feasts. The regular program will also see the addition of a brand new fiery exhibit, extending two weeks beyond the festival for Firelight Labyrinth.

Explore The Sights, Sounds And Tastes Of The Festival
Running through NewQuay Promenade, Victoria Promenade and Harbour Esplanade, Melbourne’s Firelight Festival will be stacked with fire performers, blazing installations, live music, and food and drink pop-ups packed with heat and ready to explore this winter. Wander through archways of fire while fire sculptures, drums and flame jets guide your way, and catch live performances from African drummers and live storytellers. Dig into an array of gourmet bites and drinks ready to warm your belly—from steaming dumplings and smokey paella to toasty hot chocolates and churros dusted in sugar, there’s something for the whole family to feast on.

Head Into The Illuminated Depths Of Marvel Stadium
A world-first immersive experience, Firelight Labyrinth will transform the depths of Marvel Stadium into an expanse of light and sound for just over two weeks. A sensory spectacular, the multimedia experience will immerse you into the epic ancient Greek tale of Theseus and the Minotaur, telling the story through immersive audio and a dazzling array of over 144,000 lights. Follow Theseus as he descends into the labyrinth and battles it out with the Minontaur, in an unforgettable subterranean experience that's the first of its kind to land in Australia. With tickets available for the whole family or groups of up to four, this is set to be a spectacular experience for the entire crew.
