It’s time to throw away your old Piping Hot t-shirts and embrace the new, because Melbourne t-shirt label High Tees has just launched, and you’re going to want to get your hands on their wares.

High Tees is the brainchild of designer Jessica McDonald who has created a bunch of hand-drawn ethical tees that feature high profile Australian icons who have shaped Australian culture.

All of the icons behind the designs have a message, some are controversial, some art provocative.

Designs include the likes of Julian Burnside, Geoffrey Robertson, Bob Hawke, Germaine Greer, Tim Minchin, Michael Hutchence, Graham Kennedy, and many more.

The t-shirts are made from 100% sustainable organic cotton, and are certified child labor free, so you can buy with peace of mind. And $1 from each sale goes to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.

All of High Tees stock is designed right here in Melbourne by Jess, and printed locally. They’re available in adult unisex, and toddler sizes.
