If you’ve killed more plants than tree-loggers in the Brazilian rainforest, you might want to check this one out...
Greener House in Collingwood is chucking another one of its massive indoor plant sales on Saturday.
If you’ve been to these before, you’ll know what to expect: plants everywhere, massive discounts and mark-downs, new stock, and hundreds of fixie-riding hipsters fighting over fiddle-leaf figs. The usual.
This month there’s going to be Devil’s Ivy for the first time, plus heaps of palms, monsteras, philodendrons, chain of hearts, birds of paradise and indoor pots. There’s also trained green thumbs on standby if you have questions about, you know, how to not kill things.
Dogs are welcome, parking is free (access via Wellington St), and they’ve even got EFTPOS in the warehouse.
One tip: head down early. By the end of the day, when the dust settles, there’s usually only a couple of lonely cacti left standing. All the juicy stuff gets snapped up quick.
Where: Greener House Nursery, 57-61 Alexandra Parade, Collingwood
When: Saturday 22 September,10am – 4pm
