A table full of different cut hot chips with tomato sauce being poured over them.

Melbourne’s Food & Wine Festival is back with a stacked winter program, much of which is taking place at the city’s home of food, the Queen Victoria Market.

With over 150 events in total there’s plenty of plates full of activity, so to help you navigate your way through this culinary celebration we’ve listed the seven events that are an absolute must through the nine-day feast.

Maximum Chips

This is for all of those who’ll order a side of chips as the main course, this all-you-can-eat celebration of the hot potato chip is a Friday night affair that’s not worth missing. Taking place at Queen Victoria Market it features all the favourite cuts and forms of the golden wonders including French fries, potato gems, crinkle cuts, and shoestrings.  There’ll also be drinks and entertainment at this unlimited hot chip soiree, a salt-encrusted culinary experience you’re likely never to forget.
