If there's one food Melbournians can't get enough of, it's a good, steamy dumpling. Good thing there are as many dumpling festivals in Melbourne as there are trams, so it's safe to say that this city will probably never run out of the best pillowy food in the world.
The International Dumpling Festival at Queen Vic Market is a little different though because it encapsulates all sorts of dumplings from different cultures. So whether you’re a fan of xiao long bao, pierogies, gyoza, manti, mandoo, khinkali, pelmeni, momos, matzah balls, ravioli or one of the other countless dumpling variations, you’re going to have a mind-blowingly delicious time at this event. That's right: all. the. dumplings.
There will also be plenty of entertainment ranging from multicultural performances, roving performers, kids entertainment, face painting, DJs and dumpling eating competitions, of course. Plus, the whole shindig will be free and fully licensed, so get your dumpling-loving butts to it in November.
