By Urban List Writers

It’s that time of year again where Melbourne welcomes Moonlight Cinema back for its 28th summer, returning to their usual turf—the Botanic Gardens Monday 1 December.

As Christmas comes knocking, Moonlight is set to have your screens full of classics, including Love Actually, Elf and Home Alone. They’ve whipped up a list of some of this year's biggest blockbusters like the new rom-com Anyone But You, starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell. Finishing it off with a sprinkle of 90’s nostalgia, showing Jurassic Park and the Mighty Ducks.

A full weekend of ‘Pink Party’ is on the agenda, celebrating the epic soundtrack of the Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling—make sure you bring some ken-ergy and get pretty in pink. They’ve also got a special preview screening just for you Melbourne, showing May December and Next Goal Wins.

Gold Grass, supported by AAMI, is also back for another season, with deluxe bean beds to keep you viewing in style–take a break from the heat in the Connoisseur Lounge and satisfy that sweet-tooth.

New to the grass this year is Moonlight’s Official Aperol Spritz Bar, providing freshly made spritz all season long.
