Help Support Fire-Affected Communities At This Year’s Picnic In The Park

While the bushfire threat has lessened with cooler weather and rain of late, the communities affected by bushfires in December and January still need help getting back on their feet.

One area that has been affected by a drop in tourism is the high country, and the 12th annual Picnic In the Park at Mount Buller is doing its part to bring people back to the region.

Picnic In The Park celebrates the regions best options when it comes to food, beer, and music.

On the food front, you can expect to sample delicious treats from the likes of Flaming Pizza, The Fields, Delice Royal, and Mr Wippy, with drink options from Bridge Road Brewers, Delatite Winery, Tin Shed Cider, and more.

Entertainment on board for Picnic In The Park includes the Davidson Brothers, Rhyece O’Neill Band, Mast Gully Fellers, and Tanya George alongside plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied including face painting, a scavenger hunt, and more.

Accommodation is being snapped up fast, so you’ll want to book a spot at one of the nearby venues. You can check out what’s available in the area here. You can also jump on a shuttle bus from Mansfield to Mount Buller for $5.

Make sure you buy a ticket by Wednesday 4 March to be in the running for door prizes during the event. You might land yourself a $50 voucher redeemable at stallholders during the event.

Picnic In The Park is raising funds this year for the Merrijig CFA.
