If there’s a couple of things Melbournian’s love doing, it’s growing a moustache for Movember, and enjoying a cold beverage on an afternoon of a day ending in y.

Fully understanding that men’s health issues affect both men and women, the too-good-for-us team at Stomping Ground have joined forces with Movember to promote their ‘BeerMo’ initiative.

Stomping Ground has committed to contributing a very cool $75,000 for Movember, and all you have to do to help is buy one of their ‘Gipps St’ Pale Ales at supporting pubs and bars around Australia during November.

“The support from such renowned bars and pubs has been incredible” explains Stomping Ground’s Steve Jeffares. “Many of our female friends and customers over the years have loved the Movember concept and were keen to get involved, so our BeerMo initiative with Movember is a fun way for everyone—men and women—to help us raise funds and awareness for Movember’s men’s health issues. As a brewery, we think we can help create some conversations and we’re very proud to be working with Movember.”

For more information on the initiative, or if you own a venue and would like to join BeerMo, head here.

The list of venues supporting Stomping Ground’s bold move includes the likes of The Bridge Hotel, Flying Duck, Captain Melville, The Precinct Hotel, The Beaufort, Heartbreaker and may more. Check out the full list here.
