Last weekend was a big one. Open House Melbourne opened doors to places you’ve probably never been inside before, and there were so many spots to explore you no doubt missed a couple along the way.
One interesting little morsel that piqued a lot of interest was the launch of Tiny Home, a concept designed in collaboration between RACV and award-winner architect—and, of course, Grand Designs Australia host—Peter Maddison.
This Tiny Home might just be a glimpse into the future, given us Gen-Ys aren’t getting into the inner-city property market anytime soon.
The Tiny Home as you can imagine, is tiny. It features high-efficiency solar panels that power the fridge and the bathroom, voice-activated energy efficient lighting, blinds, and power points.
It’s also set up with a 4G wireless network, external smart security cameras, and Chromecast 4K which is all controlled via a smart tablet. Simple.
The house will soon tour around Victoria, so if you missed it at Open house, that’s your chance to check it all out.

So, Vans are about to drop a Van Gogh collaboration. It's pretty wild. Read all about it here.
