That one day in September is almost here, and not only do we have a great game to look forward to—but there’s a sweet as public holiday coming up as well.

When you’re looking for a venue to watch the game at with your crew, there are only a couple of things that you need. TV screens absolutely everywhere so that you don’t miss a moment. Free-flowing beers. Plenty of food. And probably a raffle at half time of some sort.

So here are your best options when it comes to spending your Grand Final Day in style.

Stomping Ground Brewery

Collingwood

Stomping Ground has 30 beers on tap, and if that’s not reason enough to watch the game here, we don’t know what is. $65 will get you a spot in the beer garden with a selection of house beers, wine, soft drinks or juice plus one of the five main meals. They’re also putting on a feast-style brunch with bottomless filter coffee or juice for $35 for pre-game.

The Local Taphouse

St Kilda East

The Local Taphouse’ downstairs bar area will be the ultimate Grand Final venue this year. $60 gets you a 3-hour beverage package in front of the big screen, which includes Aperol spritz, beer, wine and sparkling.

The Imperial Hotel

CBD

The Imperial will be hosting three levels of Grand Final celebrations. Table bookings on the ground floor, buffet breakfast and 3-hour beverage package on level 1, and a big old fashions Grand Final BBQ on the rooftop which will operate on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 10am.

The Boatbuilder’s Yard

South Wharf

Fancy Hank’s will be setting up shop at The Boatbuilder’s Yard for Grand Final Day, dishing up meaty goodness from 12:30pm-5:30pm. Join in the big day with up to 1,400 other punters who will be watching the game on the big screen.

Aviary Hotel

North Richmond

The Aviary will be dishing up $2 pots of Furphy until the first score, along with $14 jugs of Furphy all day along with $18 cocktail jugs (yes please). There’ll be plenty of food on offer, and you won’t want to miss the meat raffle.

Grosvenor Hotel

St Kilda East

The Grand Final will be going off at The Grosvenor as it does every year. Grab yourself a $15 burger, take advantage of happy hour until the game starts and free Coopers Pale Ale pots from the start of the game until the first point.

The Great Northern

Carlton North

The Great Northern is keeping it simple this Grand Final Day. No cover charge, a lot of TVs and walk-ins are definitely welcome. Doors open from 10am.
