High above Melbourne’s bustling, shuffling city, Dutchess is humbly ticking every foodie box with a luxurious menu, impeccable cocktails and a lunch deal which is (seriously) the best reason to vacate your desk.
Perched a level above The Duke, indulge in tantalisingly vibrant grilled local squid with sorrel and olive. The recently remodelled menu brings grilled snapper with local mussels, confit vegetables and scampi caviar to the table, because everyone deserves a ‘lil caviar by the end of the working week.
Whether you’re looking to impress in business or need some well-deserved time out, Dutchess’ Thursday and Friday lunch specials will hit the foodie spot. For change from a fifty, you’ll be served up an indulgent two-course lunch, which will banish thoughts of tyrannical bosses and set you up for the weekend.
If you can’t wait until Thursday (we’re not judging), cocktail happy hour runs from Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to 7pm. Every cocktail is $11 from classic Negroni’s to seasonal cocktails (try the Earl Grey Martini), so there has never been a better excuse for a cheeky post-work tipple. Deconstructed cocktails are also on rotating special, in case you’re as picky as Goldilocks when it comes to a drink.
Choose your favourite beech-coloured leather booth, gather your closest friends and enjoy luxury dining you can actually afford.
