Thursday 23 November
Reebok Confidence Unleashed
This Thursday, Reebok is providing Auckland women with an opportunity to finally accomplish that resolution of taking a self-defense class! Unleash your inner Rachel and Phoebe, and get ready to kick some a** (read: yup, that’s a ‘Friends’ reference). Reebok Confidence Unleashed is the country’s biggest, free, female-only body-combat and self-defence class. It’s a whole lotta awesome. The class is timely with White Ribbon Day on November 25, the annual campaign that raises awareness of violence towards women. The event will include a one-hour class where women can learn how to defend themselves, along with a short body-combat workout. Making it even better, the event will feature New Zealand’s incredible stunt-woman Zoë Bell. Yes! Girl power!
A World In Our Kitchen At The Sugar Club
Peter Gordon and The Sugar Club are holding a six-course dinner on Thursday that looks seriously good. The event, A World In Our Kitchen, will showcase six teams of chefs where delish dishes will represent food that was inspired by their different home countries. The event will celebrate the expertise of the team at The Sugar Club and will feature the creative stylings of very talented chefs. This will make for an awesome night, and obviously, a very happy tummy. Get your tickets, pronto!
