Aucklanders, are you ready for this? Dinner In The Sky is officially hitting our shores in two weeks.
Yes, you just read that correctly. From February 1 - 18, you’ll have the chance to literally dine in the sky! Launching 11 years ago it has taken the world by storm, and now, finally Aucklanders can indulge in this experience. Trust us when we say this will be the most iconic pop-up of the year.
Every Wednesday to Sunday during the event, there will be seven flights available.
Helmed by four Auckland hospitality heroes: Simon Gault, Gareth Stewart, Fraser Shenton, Gavin Doyle and Phil Clark, the out-of-this-world experience will be literally taking brunch, lunch, dinner and even cocktails with the squad to the next-level this is an event that’s set to be a culinary masterpiece.
“Unlike most restaurants where chefs are hidden away in the kitchen our chefs cook and create their food right in front of the guests, providing a rare opportunity to see these masters at work," says founder Steve Chung. "You may have some of our chefs demonstrating their skills on TV, but rarely will you get to see them cooking for you in the flesh.”
And, they will also have daily wine tastings featuring a selection of winning Air New Zealand wine awards wines and cocktail flights for some next level nights out.
