FREMANTLE HERITAGE FESTIVAL | FREMANTLE

There’s going to be a bunch of interesting and exciting things to do over the next week in our beloved Freo, like prison tours, heritage trails, art exhibitions, vintage fairs and loads more. Make sure you head down this weekend to catch a glimpse of what Fremantle used to be, compared to what it is today.

AUSSIE MOVIE MARATHON | BENTLEY

Pack your pillow and blankets, cos tomorrow night there will be an awesome free outdoor movie screening at Curtin University. Take you pick from the variety of food trucks parked up for dinner, grab a beanbag and settle in for the greatest Aussie movie marathon.

A FESTIVAL OF FRIDA | PERTH

Hola amigos! Head down to William street this Saturday night to indulge in some luscious Mexican treats before watching the award-winning film Frida starring Salma Hayek. A brave and inspiring story about a young artist who overcomes life threatening obstacles to come out on top… well, we don’t want to ruin it for you. There will be yummy food available and some smooth Mexicana tunes after the show.

PSAS OPEN STUDIOS | FREMANTLE

Included in the Fremantle Heritage Festival, PSAS Open Studios is a collection of visual arts, design, social innovation, performance and architecture from over 40 various artists. For those of you who aren’t that arty, this will basically be a whole bunch of amazing art pieces that will make you think ‘How the hell did they do that?’

COMMUNITY MOVEMENT CLASS | OSBORNE PARK

Start your Saturday morning by attempting some yoga while donating to an amazing cause. The Movement Co are holding a free yoga class this Saturday morning in support of Telethon Adventures. Enjoy the class and then simply make a donation at the end. Easy peasy!
