While the past couple of days have been all doom and gloom, the weekend is set to be delightfully sunny so you’ll want to get out and make the most of it! Whether you’re looking to appreciate some art, make a minor dent in your pocket, eat and drink delish food, jam to sick tunes or channel your inner zen with some yoga—it’s all here folks!

The Dreamer Photography Exhibition | Fremantle

Here at The Urban List, we love us a little bit of fresh, up-and-coming talent, and if they’re local that’s even better! Tomorrow night, Perth photographer Louise Coghill, is launching her exhibition of seriously dreamy portraits which showcase our state’s beautiful landscapes. If you can’t make it to the launch, the exhibition is running until Thursday 30 March so you’ve got plenty of time to pop down!

Perth Sake Week: Gangemis Free Sake Tasting | West Perth

For heaven’s sake! Perthies, you gotta check this out if you’re a fan of this Japanese liquid goodness. As part of the 2017 Perth Japan Festival, Gangemis is teaming up with Perth Sake Week to bring you a very special sake and shochu tasting event. They’re showcasing sake and shochu with brewers from Japan’s premier Sake Breweries and it’s going to be awesome. Arigato gozaimas!

Battle Of The BBQs | Perth

What’s better than a good old-fashioned cook-off? A good old-fashioned cook-off between two of Perth’s best chef’s, that’s what! This Saturday, Petition Kitchen’s Jesse Blake is battling it out with Long Chim’s Lucas Fernandes for the title of King of the Grill at Battle of the BBQs as part of the State Buildings’ State Makers Festival.

Illy: The Two Degrees Tour | Fremantle

Well if it isn’t the man, the myth, the Aussie legend behind a couple of our fave Aussie hip hop tunes, then I’ll be damned. Illy is hitting up good old Fremantle so if you and the gang are keen to belt out to Papercuts or Catch 22 then we defs recommend getting tickets to this!

Mallets And Mischief | Floreat

The Boulevard is taking over the Cambridge Croquet Club for a night of croquet, icy cold beers, delicious eats and some pretty decent tunes to boot. Tickets are only $25 and include your mallet hire and a drink on arrival—sounds like a pretty good way to spend a Saturday night to us.

Baronettes Sampling | South Perth

Boasting some of the best pub grub going around, The Windsor Hotel in South Perth is an iconic local pub and the perfect place to head this Saturday for a spot of Baron Samedi cocktail sampling. From 7pm this Saturday and next, you’ll be able to sample cocktails made with Baron Samedi Spiced and pick up Baron and mixers for $8 (these will be sticking around until 15 April) and there’ll also be live DJs for when the urge to bust a move kicks in.
