It’s official: summer is here (well, it's here tomorrow) and we’ve got all the makings for a cracking weekend! Think street parties, sunsets, wine, sport, beach and outdoor movies with pockets of live music, fashion runways and of course… pugs parties for the win.

Here are 19 stellar things to do in Perth this weekend.

Thursday 30 November

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING NIGHT AT THE STATE BUILDINGS

Get some Christmas shopping out of the way and spend some time looking at all of the lovely things in the beautiful State Buildings. Taste, watch and purchase your way through that Christmas wish list in style. Get all the details here.

Friday 1 December

THE ICE CREAM FACTORY LAUNCH

It's only Perth's latest and greatest pop-up launch. No biggie. Think bowling alleys, rooftop bars, karaoke, Nina Las Vegan add FREE Denada & Co ice cream for the first 100 people through the door (trust us, you want to be one of those first 100 people!) Get the deets here.

ROOFTOP MOVIES OPENING NIGHT IN NORTHBRIDGE 

The outdoor movie season has finally arrived! Kicking the summer off in true outdoor cinema style is Northbridge’s insanely cool Rooftop Movies and of course, Thor. See the full weekend (and season) program here and book in your beanbag!

YOUNG GUNS OF WINE AT IL LIDO ITALIAN CANTEEN

After a sell out event last year Young Guns Of Wine is back and showcasing a new wave of Australian wine makers taking the industry by storm. Head to Il Lido tomorrow at 1pm and for $70 taste your way across the countries best up and comers (matched with delicious Italian food of course). Save your seat here.

COTTESLOE CHRISTMAS PARTY AT VANS

The annual Cottesloe Christmas Party is taking place this tomorrow night and we’re super into the Vasse Felix/Vans collaboration for two reasons: From 4pm there’ll be free tasting of all the deliciousness coming out of the Vasse wine barrels and we hear the kitchen team plan on serving up smoked kangaroo. FOODIE FRIDAYS AT ENEX 100

This Friday head to Enex in the city and get all over their summer series of $10 meals and a free beer or wine after work. Unearthed indie local Johanna Grace will be taking the stage so head over from 5pm. All the info is here.

THE WINDSOR'S GARDEN BAR LAUNCH PARTY

After some seriously stunning refurbs, the garden bar at The Windsor is reopening to the public just in time for summer! Get down there tomorrow night from 6pm for drinks, dancing and deliciousness. The guest list has closed now, but they'll be taking walk-ins after 8pm. Get more info here.

LAYA BIKIKI SECOND NATURE LAUNCH

It's officially summer which means it's officially time for new bathers. LIGHT UP LEEDERVILLE ON OXFORD STREET

PUGS OF PERTH BOOK LAUNCH IN DALKEITH

SUNDAY BEACH SESSIONS AT PORT BEACH

East Fremantle is one of our fave 'burbs so we will definitely be hitting up this festival. Expect street food, artisan markets, roving entertainment and plenty of good times for the little ones. Get all the info here.

We love markets and we LOVE the sea, so we were pretty stoked to see that Markets by the Sea will be popping up this Sunday from 9am. There will be music, food trucks and plenty of local makers so you can get your Christmas shopping done early. Find out more here.
