TRADING PLATES WITH MATT MORAN AT PETITION
Matt Moran. On a Monday. At Petition. Must we say more? OK, OK. The dream boat celeb chef will be joining forces with Petition Head Chef Jesse for a shared dinner. Matt (yep, we’re on first name basis) will be talking all about his new book and of course getting up close and personal for a signature is recommended. Book your $105 ticket here.
Wednesday 1 November
KOI CHILD AT FREMANTLE ARTS CENTRE
Koi Child will be getting back to their Freo roots this Wednesday as the seven piece hip hop group performs in the Freo Arts Centre front garden. Expect all the marvelousness that is this ARIA-nominated album (which was produced by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker just FYI). Grab tickets here.

THEIR HEART ON THEIR SLEEVE EXHIBITION AT THERE IS IN NORTHBRIDGE
Two of Perth’s creative powerhouses, Stormie Mills (street art extraordinaire) and Frances Andrijich (award winning photographer) have joined forces for an exhibition that starts this Wednesday at the There Is creative space. Showcasing the beauty behind tattoos and the reasons behind them, this is an amazing collaboration of art that shouldn’t be missed. More info found here.
BRITISH FILM FESTIVAL AT VARIOUS CINEMAS
Cinema Paradiso, Luna on SX and Windsor are channelling their inner pom on Thursday (well all week really) for the British Film Festival. While we have our eye on Breathe, Tulip Fever and The Bookshop, there are loads of movies to choose from. Check out the session times here.
