For those of you planning your next trip to Bali just to get back to some of your favourite restaurants, pop your credit cards away, close the Jetstar website and listen up.
Kieran Morland of Merah Putih and Sangsaka fame will be coming to Perth for two nights only to bring us some of the best eats that Indonesia has to offer.
He’ll be taking over the kitchen at The Flour Factory on Wednesday 22 February and then heading into Northbridge to Wok St Chow House to do it all again on Thursday 23 February.
The set menu will put a modern spin on traditional Indonesian food so you can expect the very best West Australian produce with classic Indo flavours. The only difference between the two nights is the drinks list—so if you’re after Howard Park Wines with your dinner you’ll want to head to The Flour Factory, but if cocktails are more your jam Wok Street Chow House have you covered.
Tickets are $150 for 10 dishes served over four courses and drinks are included, head here to book at The Flour Factory, or here for Wok St Chow House.
Anna believes wholeheartedly in “everything in moderation” but still can’t manage to pass up an opportunity to try Perth’s latest and greatest fads…air yoga and a juice cleanse anyone? She could very happily live off avocado, wine and ice cream (straight from the tub, obviously) but occasionally throws in a green juice for good measure. She also likes listening to her favourite songs on repeat until she knows every word—not an annoying habit at all. After years of acting like it’s her job to know about everything and anything that is going on in Perth, she can’t quite believe she’s actually getting paid to do this.
