Spirit fingers at the ready at the ready, Bring It On The Musical will be making its Perth debut this winter.
Heading to His Majesty's Theatre for a very short season from 8 to 18 August, the Broadway smash hit includes incredible aerial stunts (performed by world-class cheerleaders) and choreography that'll rival that of Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku.
If you’ve seen the original movie you’ll know the basic plot (and if you haven’t, just imagine Kirsten Dunst as a cheerleader and a lot of finger clicking and ‘Oh no she di’n’t!’ moments). The musical follows the same basic formula, except it’s been given the Broadway treatment by Tony Award-winning Jeff Whitty and Lin-Manuel (from Hamilton).
Producer David Venn and Director Alister Smith are charged with bringing the musical to life in Perth and casting for the Australian tour (which includes Sydney and Melbourne) is well underway.
You'll want to be quick to grab these tickets.
In other musical news, you must have heard The Book of Mormon is coming our way.
