Celebrating 50 years of squishing grapes, Vasse Felix is inviting you to join them for a delicious five course dinner to pay homage to the evolution of their cab sav. Each dish will be paired with a drop from the last five years, culminating in the 2013 Tom Cullity, released this year. Make Wine, Forage For Food And Cook Up A Storm
Aravina Estate, 14, 17 and 21 July, 9am—3pm
Foodies, this event is for you. You’ll kick off your day by taking a stroll through Aravina’s vineyard before finding yourself in the barrel room, blending your own wine. Then Executive Chef Ben Day will teach you all about foraging for food and he’ll help you to catch fresh marron in the vineyard’s lake which you’ll later get to cook over an open fire. The day will end with a five course degustation paired with Aravina’s delicious wines, and you’ll walk out with a full belly and your very own wine blend.
