If you've got your finger on the Perth pulse, you'll know that Embargo Bar has moved to the old Ku De Ta site this year, so we bet a few of you were wondering what would be popping up down at Elizabeth Quay this summer.
Well wonder no more, it's time to meet Kartel Bar, Perth's newest pop-up bar—and only Mexican pop-up bar.
From the guys behind The Camfield and Embargo, Kartel Bar will be popping up this Thursday 6 December and will be sticking around until Boxing Day.
They'll be mixing up Mexican inspired cocktails like the Suave Agave—tequaila, agave and lime with a black salt rim—and the Bontanga Libre—reposado tequila with Mexican colo, vanilla and lime—plus they'll be pouring Tecate, Dos Equis, Pacifico and Negra Modela beers. If you prefer your drinks local, there'll be plenty of WA beers and wines for you too.
The food also has a Mexican twist with a spicy diablo cheeseburger, cheese rice croquetas and nachos to snack on.
