If you haven’t had the, er, pleasure of stumbling across the LA streetwear label Pleasures, then you might want to stop what you’re doing and have a bit of a stalk.
Started in 2015 from a pop-up art gallery, this LA-based label has gained a dedicated cult following, with everyone from The Weeknd to Wiz Khalifa seen rocking their sought-after merch.
If you're not familiar with the brand but recognise the name, it's because they caused quite a stir after a recent collaboration with Grateful Dead where their tees were emblazoned with Kurt Cobain's suicide letter. (No publicity is bad publicity here.) Since then, the brand now boasts more than 80k followers on Instagram and over 100 stores around the globe.
As fate would have it, Pleasures was tricky to get a hold of in Australia. Until now.
They’ve chosen Perth as their next pop up destination, and they’ll be teaming up with Perth streetwear legends StreetX and Highs & Lows while in town to bring you the latest pieces to rock this summer, so mark Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 December in your diaries now.
Expect limited edition threads, shoes and accessories that you can't get elsewhere. Let’s just say this is not the kind of pop up for those who like to blend into the background.
All three labels are collaborating to create some fresh apparel—and yes, those heat sensitive tees will be coming with them.
The location is top secret for now, but we’ll keep you updated with all the latest info as it comes in.
In the meantime, check out how to nail the latest 90s dad looks.
