Remember when we told you the sky was going to be filled with hot air balloons and you all went crazy? Well now there’s another event that’s going to brighten up the skies, and this time it’s a little closer to home. That’s right, the iconic Red Bull WA kiteboarding race is back again for another year of tough competition.
The 8th annual race will be on Saturday 9 December and if you’re into kiteboarding you better bring your A-game because the competition is expected to be tough. The challenge is a 19km course from Rottnest Island onto the mainland at Leighton Beach in Fremantle.
If you’re less into physical activity and more into taking pretty pictures to up your Insta cred, you’ll want to get to Leighton Beach to cheer on the competitors as they come to shore. It's going to be spectacular!
