Get excited for Busselton’s new architecturally pleasing brewery to launch on the foreshore in Spring 2020.
The Shelter Brewing Co., reminiscent of Fremantle’s Little Creatures, will stand in prime position opposite the famed 1.8km Busselton Jetty—perfect for grabbing a local brew of choice while soaking up the sun and taking in the beauty of our south west.
The company’s co-director and fourth-generation south west local, Zeb Packard-Hair, describes the venue to be something “world class”, and by the sounds of the corrugated cladding that will intentionally rust over time, full length glass walls and indoor trees, Shelter Brewing Co. has already claimed a top spot on our to-visit list just based on the uniqueness of the design.
Together with Jason Credaro (Little Creatures and Brick Lane Brewing Co alumni), the guys get an A-plus in the sustainability department, thanks to the use of solar power and green energy sources during the building process. Add to that the stunning jetty and ocean views and Shelter Brewing Co. is sounding like something dreams are made of.
As if this hasn’t already tickled your fancy, the experience itself will give a similar vibe to that of our beloved Little Creatures, where you can watch the beer brewing process right from your seat.
Keep updated on the development of this beast here, and in the meantime start getting your mates together for a 2020 trip down south.
