It turns out peer pressure is all you need to get shit done.
After gaining traction everywhere from Melbourne to the United States, Side Project Sessions is launching in Perth, so it’s finally time to kick procrastination to the curb and get to work on whatever task, big or small, that you’ve been saying you’ll do for the last forever.
Whether you want to start a side hustle, write a book, sort out your tax, finish your PhD or just catch up on reading, Side Project Sessions gives you the space and time to actually get it done—along with the quiet hum of others around you smashing their goals.
So how does it work? The sessions are broken up into three 45-minute distraction-free periods, with 15 minutes to stretch, relax and (maybe) talk to others in between. There’ll be plenty of coffee, tea and snacks to keep you going and there’s absolutely no pressure to interact with others, because who really loves being forced to talk to a stranger?
Perth’s first Side Project Sessions event is kicking off on Sunday 8 September at Maison in West Perth, so start thinking about that project you want to make headway on and book yourself in for the sweet fee of $20 here.
Think it’ll take a little more than peer pressure for you to get your ass into gear? Melbourne-based Side Project Sessions founder Madeleine Dore offers online one-on-one accountability sessions so you can finally stop letting your dreams down.
