Yep, it’s already that time of year again—time to get yourself to the Perth Cultural Centre for a day full of food truck fun at the Food Truck Rumble!
As always, there will be food trucks galore showcasing cuisines from all around the world and each of them will be serving up a special Rumble dish, but there are three that we are seriously excited about this year!
Because we like to mix things up, let’s start with dessert shall we? Our pals over at Pash Froyo will be serving up a dish called Everyone Loves Nutella (ain’t that the truth)—a Lawley's Nutella filled doughnut, filled with Pash froyo and topped with Oreos and a Nutella mousse. Yep, Oreos and Nutella, together at last.
If you need to balance that decadence out with something fresh and summery, the guys at Eat No Evil will be doing something a little healthier—Hawaiian poke bowls chock full of salmon, veg, seaweed and watermelon. If you couldn’t care less about balance, then forget the poke bowl and get yourself to Get Chips Or Die Frying who will be dishing up mouth-watering loaded fries. Think oregano tossed chips topped with albondigas (Spanish style meatballs) AND chorizo with a generous sprinkling of parmesan and some crusty bread to mop the sauce up.
After all the food, you might need a drink so get to Urban Orchard for the Scofflaw Fizz—Wild Turkey bourbon, pomegranate, dry vermouth, lemon juice and soda. Dee-licious!
Food Truck Rumble is happening on Sunday 26 March from 11am until 8pm in the Perth Cultural Centre. We reckon you’ll want to get there nice and early so you don’t miss out!
