Everyone’s favourite annual dog walk is back to help fight cruelty to animals for its 21st year—wowsers—but this year there’s a new challenge!
The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is happening on Sunday 21 May at Sir James Mitchell Park in South Perth (with eight other regional walks across WA for those of you not in Perth), but it’s not all about the big walk this time around.
This year, The Million Paws Challenge is encouraging all the pooch lovers out there to walk one million paws in the month before the event to help raise money for the RSPCA—so if you haven’t started yet you’d better get going!
On the day of the event, you can choose to walk the 1km, 2.5km or 5km course and there will be a doggy obstacle course so you can really show off if your four legged friend is that way inclined.
After the walk is over there’ll be food and drinks available and your doggo can head to the doggy bath before you take them home for a well-deserved rest!
