Keeping up with the best events, new openings, pop ups, and good things to eat in Perth is no mean feat (and we would know!). To make your life that little bit easier, and because we love a good list, we’ve teamed up with Peroni to bring you What’s Trending: A one-stop guide to everything worth checking out in your city this month, so you won’t miss a thing.

From beach-side bars and CBD art, to Japanese icecream and cheese festivals, Perth is kicking up its heels with a jam-packed calendar of new openings and events this November. We've cut through the chatter to bring you our top 10 picks of what's trending in Perth right now.

#1. North Fremantle Gets A Hot New Bar

North Freo's newest hot spot that everyone can't stop talking about, Coast on Port Beach is quintessentially West Australian. The vibe is relaxed and casual so you're more than welcome to pop in for a drink straight after a swim, but if you're after something a little more glam take a seat in the restaurant and take your pick from drool-worthy steak, fresh seafood, amazing salads and so much more. The perfect place for a big group catch up or an intimate dinner for two, add this place to your November bucket list stat.

#2. Beachside Eats = The Best Eats In Town

Along with Coast, there are tonnes of new and old beachside eats dotted along Perth's water's edge where everyone will be flocking to this summer. Head to Hamptons for a post-swim brekky, old faithful's The Shorehouse, Bib & Tucker and Voyage Kitchen for an epic lunch with a view or watch the sun go down at Odyssea. You can do no wrong!

#3. Luxe Fish And Chipperies Are Our New Go-To

Fancy fish and chipperies are having a moment in Perth because apparently we've all become a little bit more sophisticated. Who knew? The list is getting longer by the day, but our pick of the school would have to be Northbridge newbie The Chippery & Co, City Beach fave The Groper And His Wife and The Fish Boss food truck.

#4. Slide In To Summer At A Pop-Up Waterpark

The Splash City Inflatable Waterpark has made its way back to Perth just in time for summer, and by the looks of how fast the weather is warming up, we're going to need it. The pop-up waterpark wonderland is home to the tallest inflatable waterslide in the world, so you'd better pack a god quality swimsuit!

#5. Northbridge Is The Ultimate Foodie Suburb

As if it wasn't already cool enough already, Northbridge has really upped the ante of late with a bunch of awesome new openings. There's the highly anticipated Hummus Club, Meat Candy, Thai eatery Bangkok Brothers and the already mentioned Chippery & Co. We really are spoiled for choice!

#6. Taiyaki Becomes The Latest Dessert

The latest ice cream sensation that's making Perth peeps go crazy, Taiyaki is a Japanese sweet treat that is almost too cute to eat. Comprising of a fish-shaped pancake that's filled with soft serve, you can pick one of these up at Whisk Creamery's new Northbridge digs.

#7. Indoor Plants Are #Sohotrightnow

If there’s one trend we never want to see the back of, it’s the explosion of indoor greenery we are seeing everywhere in Perth at the moment. From cafes and restaurants to office spaces and your super stylish besties’ house, fiddle leaf figs and devil’s ivy plants are popping up every which way you look, and just quietly, we’re obsessed. Ready to deck your own place out but don’t know where to start? Here are 9 excellent places to buy indoor plants in Perth.

#8. Rooftops Are The Place To Be

From rooftop bars to our old faithful Rooftop Movies, it's all about getting sky high this November. If you haven't checked out East Freo newbie, Sweetwater Rooftop Bar yet, pick up the phone and make a booking now. With a stunning view over Freo's industrial area, a killer fit-out and some of the most delicious Asian-fusion eats we've had the pleasure of trying, you'd be crazy not to.

#9. The Perth CBD Is Being Brightened By CowParade

Margaret River is not the only place to spot prettily adorned cows in WA, CowParade has made its way to Perth and will be sticking around for your viewing pleasure until 11 December. Touted as the largest public art program in the world, there are 40 cows dotted around town painted and styled by some of Perth's most creative artists and designers. Who's in for some cow hunting?

#10. There's A Party To Celebrate Durian

Love it or hate it, there is a durian party coming to Perth this November and it's got people in a tizzy. If you're keen to join the durian party, it's happening in Bibra Lake on Friday 25 November between 3:30pm and 7pm. We're told there'll be loads of durian desserts up for grabs, so if you're a fan of the fruit it's not to be missed! Click here for more info.
