Somma Scores Big On The Global Stage
Modern Italian dining destination, Somma, is celebrating not one, but two major global wins this year. Chef Mirko Febbrile has been awarded the coveted One Knife at The Best Chef Awards 2025 in Milan (aka the Oscars of the chef world), while Somma Bar made its dazzling debut at #122 on the Top 500 Bars list.
The One Knife nod is all about recognising chefs who are rewriting the future of food and Mirko’s storytelling-through-flavour philosophy couldn’t fit the bill better. Meanwhile, Somma Bar’s global ranking proves it’s not just about what’s on the plate, but also what’s in the glass—think craft cocktails that blend memory, culture, and creativity in every sip.
“These awards are a reminder that our craft is never just about ourselves, but about the stories we tell together,” says Mirko. Big cheers to the whole Somma crew—Singapore’s dining scene just got another reason to flex.
