Let’s be honest, it’s a little unfair that it is only socially acceptable for those under the age of 12 to participate in Easter egg hunts. They’re fun, exciting and an excellent way to score some free treats, and we think everyone should be able to give them a go.
Well, lucky for us young-at-heart adults, the Sunshine Coast’s much-loved dining precinct, Ocean Street, is hosting a giant Easter egg hunt this Easter Sunday. Held from 12pm to 9pm, this Easter egg hunt is the perfect way to sample all that Ocean Street has to offer and score some freebies along the way.
Unlike more traditional Easter egg hunts which involve searching for hidden chocolate eggs, this hunt is a little different. The ‘eggs’ will be hidden in and around every Ocean Street eatery, and the eggs will be a printed image with the business’s name on them. Once found, take a photo and show the staff to receive a special prize, which can be anything from a food sample to a drink or voucher.
There will also be extra plastic eggs hidden throughout the street which will contain more prizes. So, basically you can work your way down Ocean Street searching for eggs and enjoying all the free food and drinks you can find. Sounds like a perfect Sunday to us.
All your favourite Ocean Street stores will be participating, which means you can enjoy everything from Downtown’s burgers and Solbar’s pizzas to Elixiba’s cocktails and La Canteena’s street food.
So get your gang together and hit up Ocean Street this Easter Sunday for the ultimate Easter egg hunt. For more information, click here.
