There’s only one thing we love more than a new restaurant opening on the Sunshine Coast. And that’s a new restaurant that sets up shop along one of our fave streets, to dish up cheap Asian eats from their kitchen to our bellies.
Created by two mates, Jeremy Kennedy and Jordan Lund, the first thing you’re going to notice about Chow is the interior. Kitted out with timber walls, dimly-lit pendant lights, concrete floors, greenery and black furniture, you’ll be hard-pressed to find anywhere on the Coast you can compare this restaurant’s ‘look’ to.
Serving up a mix of South East Asian food, you'll be feasting on Duck Boats, which are essentially Chow’s version of a san choy bow using their specialty sauce, Filipino crispy pork belly, tataki shooters (yep, these are served in shot glasses) and yakitori. Basically, you oughta try every.single.dish.
