A Food Truck Festival is rolling into Chatswood this Saturday, and it’s basically all of our street food dreams come to life. As if Saturday wasn’t already the best day of the week, Westfield Chatswood are upping the yay factor, shutting down Anderson Street and Charlotte Lane to make way for American BBQ street food, dessert and gluten free doughnuts (they're thoughtful like that).

If you’re a regular down at Hawker Lane, then you’ll already know that it’s packed with Asian eateries—all open until late. If you’re not familiar, then we’ll tell you that the Food Truck Festival is adding an extra dose of awesome to the existing dining precinct that already nails street food on the daily.

You’ll always be able to grab crispy Taiwanese chicken at Cheers Cut, shen jian bao from Dumplings & Co. and pork mo burgers from Noodle Warriors. But come Saturday 18 February, you’ll also be able to scoff an 8-hour hot smoked pulled pork bun—with bourbon BBQ sauce—from Eat Art Truck, and everyone’s favourite Jerusalem street food dessert, knafeh, from the Bearded Bakers at Knafeh Bakery. The latter is a Middle Eastern sweet cheese or cream dessert, topped with pistachios and, then drizzled with sugar syrup and these guys even serve it up with a side of live entertainment.

This isn’t your average foodie festival—it’s even waaaaay better than that—and you can get all of the deets here
