A French Food Festival Is Coming To Sydney

24th May 2017

Bastille Festival is taking over Circular Quay for another year this July, and if celebrating all things French food, culture, and fun sounds like something you’d enjoy—keep reading. It’s all happening over Bastille weekend, and you can look forward to 14 live concerts, 2 DJ sets, 1 cabaret show, 8 movie screenings on BEDS, and endless live performances.

We won’t lie—we’re most excited about the food and wine, because food and wine. There are four foodie areas to choose from, but we recommend that you hit up every single one, twice.

The BBR Village will be on the Customs House Forecourt, serving crepes, macarons, cheese platters, and (not surprisingly) wine; The Nordic Village will be at Circular Quay East, serving mussels and Belgian craft beer, and delicious mulled wine; The Latin Village will be at First Fleet Park celebrating Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Greece; and The Gourmet Village, which will be (you guessed it), serving all things European gourmet.

Basically you’ll be well fed, well wined, and very well entertained—head here for the details.

The details:

What: Bastille Festival
When: Thursday 13 – Sunday 16 July
Where: Circular Quay
