A Syrian BBQ Is Headed To Sydney

If there’s one thing that screams summer (or spring for that matter) it’s a damn good barbie. And this month, the good guys at Almond Bar are throwing a Syrian BBQ, coz they know the only thing that’ll improve the already winning BBQ formula is fresh kebabs over coals and ALL of the sides.

This one won’t break the bank, with a cheeky 20 scoring you a plate piled high with barbequed lamb kebabs, chicken drummies, fattoush, bread, potatoes and all the dips (well, hummus, toum and baba ganoush. If you’re feeling adventurous (and hungry) then add kafta, corn and halloumi wrapped in spiced, grilled eggplant.

One more sweetener: it’s dog friendly, so not only will you have someone to whom you can palm off your leftovers, you’ll also be in great company.

FYI, there is no need to book, but for more deets, head here
