Clear your diaries because Sydney Park will see tails wagging (literally) on Sunday 28th August and it’s an event you do not want to miss! Animal welfare charity, Maggie’s Rescue, has organised a mass dog walk to raise money and awareness for dog adoption. In its second year and expected to attract hundreds of canines and their humans, Muddy Paws Walk will finish at the dog-friendly The Vic on the Park for a barbeque, yappy hour and a dog show.
“The main goal of Muddy Paws is to gather animal lovers together, support and generate awareness for pet adoption and to give our furry friends an extra fun daily walk,” said Maggie’s Rescue founder, Lisa Wright.
It will be im-paws-ible not to have fun on the day as the event also includes a treasure hunt, prizes for the best-dressed dogs and pets who look like their owners (our personal favourite!).
If I had a tail, we are paws-itive that it would be wagging in excitement for this event!
