Spring has sprung and it’s officially food festival season! It’s officially time to buy a new pair of stretchy pants and hit up Sydney’s very own Filipino food festiva.
What even is Filipino food, we hear you ask!? Think sinigang (aka hot and sour soup), lechon (a whole roasted pig!), adobo (god dam delicious braised pork belly) and chicken inasal (some of the best damn barbeque chicken in the world). So yeah, see what we mean by suggesting you go and treat yo’ self to a new pair of stretchy pants?
From 8 to 16 September, you can wrap your lips around all of the above delicious goodness and get your fix of Filipino everything at the Shangra-Li. Chefs will be flying in direct from Manila to serve up the most authentic dishes in town so book yourself in for lunch or dinner, then stuff yourself silly before the next food festival comes around.
