We’re lucky to live in a city like Sydney where there’s always something going on, and this week we’ve narrowed it down to five truly awesome events that you definitely don’t want to miss. Here are five of the best things to do in Sydney this week.
Cooking Class with Cho Cho San’s Nicholas Wong
Nicholas Wong of Cho Cho San, for one night only, will be your mentor. Time to dust off your chef hats, grab any other kitchen utensils you probably don’t have, (let’s be honest), and get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime foodie opportunity. You’ll have a red hot go at perfecting the dishes of Tokyo’s most delicious bites, all under the careful instruction of Wong, a man who has cooked at some of Sydney’s most popular restaurants including Rockpool and The Apollo. Who knows, maybe that’ll be you one day champ.
When: Monday 19th September, 6.30pm
Where: Sydney Seafood School, Sydney Fish Market
Cost: $90pp, LIMITED SPOTS LEFT, book now
Art and About
Art and About Sydney is back and jam-packed with temporary public art, and boy oh boy, have they outdone themselves. Art and About have changed things up, introducing a yearlong calendar of creativity, so yes, you’ve got some time to see it, but what better way to spice up your midweek routine with a little art and some sun - ’tis the season, people. Take a stroll through Hyde Park and see what some of Sydney’s youngest photographers have been up to, or reminisce with some classic photos of Australian Life.
When: On now

Flower Crowns and Fascinators Workshop
Spring we are so damn excited that you are here. Blumette specialise in floral styling for all sorts of events, we’re talking hens nights, birthdays or just your average Wednesday when you’re feeling slightly more fabulous than usual and a quiet midweek drink just won’t cut it. You and your glorious creation will walk, make that strut, through the rest of the week in style.

Where: 2/66 Oxford St, Darlinghurst

Yoga From the Sky
Bright and early starts are bitter sweet. They are absolutely terrible when that first alarm goes off, but awesome once you’re up and ready. And oh boy, do we have a reason to get you up and out of bed early this week. We’re talking yoga on Sydney Tower’s Observation Deck, which gives you breathtaking, 360 degree views of everyone else who is lazier than you, and of course our beautiful city. Did we mention that you’ll be leaving with a healthy, delicious breakfast? So there is no rushing or purchasing of muffins required. You’re welcome.

Where: Sydney Tower, 100 Market Street
