Half A Tonne Of Free Cheese Is Coming To Sydney

Just when you’ve accepted that this week is one big fat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ this happens. Oh yes guys, half a tonne of FREE (like, free free) cheese is coming to Sydney and all is suddenly oh-so-right in the world.

A free two-day cheese festival is coming to Carriageworks, and you know what this means—wall to wall European cheese and alllllllll of the free samples. We’re not kidding when we say that there’ll be half a tonne of freebies to go around and you can consider this your official challenge to each the whole damn lot.

In addition to the free samples (oh yes) there will also be a wine bar, because wine + cheese = bae, cheese demonstrations and masterclasses to teach you to match your wine and cheese like a pro. By the end of the day you’ll know the subtle (or not so subtle) difference between a creamy and stinky cheese and the history of European cheese in general. Hell, you’ll have eaten every single one of them.

For even more details, not that you need them, head to their Instagram page @europeancheeses.
