If you live in the West (and even if you don’t)—listen up! You now officially never need to travel into the city again because an epic new foodie spot is opening in Rooty Hill. Hoorah! What does this mean exactly? Well, you can now fiiiiiinally get all the best bites and booze in the one place, and all just a short drive/walk/scooter away from home.

Brought to you by the legends at TomMarkHenry (aka the brains behind the likes of The Darlo Country Club, 1888 Certified and Bondi’s Best), Made By The Hills is a slick new bar slash café slash burger hang out at the good ol’ Rooty Hill RSL.

Pasticceria Papa and Chur Burger are moving in so you can get your baked ricotta cheesecake with a side of fries, and the Made By The Hill cafe will be dishing up a whole heap of your other fave foods like cheese and charcuterie boards, pizza and (even) salad so you can eat yourself into a food coma on the reg then roll right into bed.

The bar will have every cocktail you could ever want, along with beer and cider, and just think—you can use the cash you saved on that Uber home and treat yo’ fine self to the best damn bottle of vino on the menu.

To celebrate the opening of Made By The Hill, the team is throwing a massive party over not one, but two nights (Friday 28 and Saturday 29 July) so skip that after work bevvy in the overcrowded CBD and get your hungry belly here STAT.
