Yes, you read that right. For one beer-filled day only, Oktoberfest will be taking over The Rocks with all things Bavarian and bier (obvs). Expect pop-up bier tents serving Löwenbräu Oktoberfestbier, Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier, Paulaner Oktoberfestbier and Spaten Oktoberfestbier, Oom-pah-pah bands and plenty of god damn delicious food like pretzels, schnitzels, and traditional German sausages, of course.
There will be an inaugural Dogs of Oktoberfest Costume Contest so you can bring your pooch, on-stage yodelling, stein hoist and hold challenges, and a whole lot more to keep you entertained while you stuff yourself with pork knuckle in the pork knuckle championship and drink your weight in (you guessed it) bier.
The best part? From 16 September you can earn yourself the title of Oktober-Boss by taking on this hefty food challenge: one pork knuckle, one pretzel, one schnitzel, one schnapps and four 1L steins of Oktoberfest biers. You'll have to pick up your Oktober-Boss passport in venue first but then you'll get a stamp for each one you take down and win yourself an exclusive invite to the Oktoberfest closing party. You have six weeks.
