Two of Australia’s best restaurants are joining forces this May when owner and chef at Brae, Dan Hunter, moves up the coast to take over Quay for one night. Brae was just named as number 44 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, so it’s fitting that he’s decided to take over Quay, who sits as 95.
Hunter will be sharing the kitchen with Peter Gilmore, serving up a tasting menu of some of Brae’s most iconic dishes alongside a few dishes by Peter. Throughout the five-course menu (with paired premium wines, FYI), Hunter will also be sharing his story with guests.
It’s all happening to celebrate the launch of his new book, Brae: Recipes and Stories from the Restaurant on 9 May and all guests will leave with a copy. Book your tickets here.
