Winter is almost over (thank God) and the only thing better than welcoming spring is welcoming spring with a whole lot of delicious eats and edible air. Yes, you read that right. Edible air is officially a thing and you can find it at The Galeries four-day SpringVention festival, from Thursday 7 September to Sunday 10 September.

IIn celebration of all things not cold (aka spring), your fave CBD centre is dishing up four floating flavours of edible air at their very own Balloon Bar, taste Coconut, Passionfruit, Orange and Raspberry Edible Balloons, along with bespoke food creations from some of Sydney’s top restaurants in collaboration with Kettles tasty AF popcorn range.

The laneways will be completely transformed by artist, designer and collector, Dina Broadhurst, to create The Streets of Spring and if you spend over $150 during the festival, you’ll score a customised tote bag designed live by typography artist, Mielo, located in The Tote Studio pop up.

There will be live music by the hard hitting verses of R&N Soul Crooner Mike Champion, Australia’s go to girl for major tourist artists Jessica Stokes and triple threat creative artist Kuki Topoki, plus celebrity chefs (aka Gigi Falanga), TV personalities and a whole lot more worth Insta-gramming, so clear your calendar and start spring right.
