Right. It’s officially warm (enough). The sun is out, a few guns are out, and staying indoors on the weekend seems nothing short of criminal. So, how are you going to make the most of the warm weather FINALLY kicking into gear? We’ll tell you. It's the Watsons Bay Cider Festival.
Like you didn’t need another reason to bask in the glorious sunshine at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel. It went off like a shaken-up bottle last year (and the year before), and you can only expect bigger and better things this time around.
You can avoid the queues and rock your smuggest of all smug faces when you pre-book the Cider Tasting Package. This bad boy will include a bottle of cider plus 15 tokens you can exchange at the pop-up bars for samples throughout the afternoon.
When the bubbles hit and your tummy rumbles, there'll be an enormous array of food stalls to get you going. We won’t spoil too much, but imagine pulled pork rolls, paella and doughnuts for starters.
It’s set to be a beauty of an afternoon, so clear your diary and make a day of it. There will be DJs for the dancers, acoustic tunes for the chillers, apple bobbing for all ages, as well as a few prizes and freebies on the day.
It kicks off at 11am, so if you want to get in early and then set up camp in the Beach Club after that, you’d be making an excellent decision. Head here for tickets.
