The film that made the rest of the planet believe the Australian outback was filled with trigger-happy psychopathic nut-jobs is getting a television remake on Stan. Hooray, if you like blood, gore and horror movies! Not so great news if the thought of ghosts has you reaching for doona covers.
To celebrate the 2016 mini-series spin-off, local Melbourne brewers Two Birds will be serving a themed, limited edition ale in an outback-style pop up bar. It’s going to be a killer event.
Named after the show’s terrifyingly crazy cowboy, Mick Taylor, Two Birds Brewing have created speciality brewed Mick’s Bitter ale. The pop-up bar is promised to serve all frothies and non-alcoholic drinks at “outback prices”. Sound vague? So did the plot of Wolf Creek 2 but you watched it anyway.
Giveaways, opportunities to meet the stars of the new Wolf Creek television show (John Jarratt is returning to play Taylor) and an outback-inspired menu is only on offer from Wednesday 11th May until Saturday 14th May. Head into the Martin Place Amphitheatre for a fright.
