Here’s to busy weekends packed with adventure and all the food ever. This weekend is reeling in bottomless dumplings, a solid craft beer festival, the infamous Night Noodle Markets and a vintage record fair.

Here are 12 awesome things to do this weekend in Sydney.

All Weekend

The Dumpling legends, New Shanghai, are headed to Sydney Tower Eye for a whole week of dumpling feasts and you’ll want to fire up the group chat STAT. This all-you-can-eat dumpling feast 2.0 is heading the annual Chinese celebration known as Golden Week and just so you know, there'll be six sessions each day. If dumplings ain't your thing (god forbid), you can also sling golden pan-fried pork buns. This is a definite BYO stretchy pants kind of situation. But there’s a catch—you’ll only have 30 precious minutes to eat as many dumplings as your belly can handle. We believe in you. For tickets, head here.

When: From Thursday to Sunday, 12-1:30pm, 6-7:30pm
Where: Sydney Tower Eye, CBD
Cost: $40 for lunch session, $45 for dinner session

Coogee Bay Hotel is bringing back their craft beer and cider festival and we’re super jazzed about it. The Garden will be home to over 60 beers and ciders to ‘sample’, with tonnes of food pop-ups and a bunch of live jazz music acts. If you’re a beer/cider enthusiast, or you don’t know your ales from your lagers, they’ve got something for every level. Jump over here for your tickets.

When: Saturday 6 October and Sunday 7 October, 12-7pm
Where: Coogee Bay Hotel, Coogee
Cost: $15 - $100 per person

If you’re a horror movie fanatic then this one is for you. The classic, and in my opinion, the oddly funny Cabin in the Woods is on at The Ritz Cinema this Thursday and Sunday night. This film showing is part of the cinema’s ‘Shocktober’ festival happening this month. Grab your besties and settle in for a night of screams and laughs.

When: Thursday 4 October, 8:30pm and Sunday 7 October, 7pm
Where: The Ritz Cinema, Randwick
Cost: $12 - $15 per person

Our fave foodie fest is back starting this week! Yes, the Night Noodle Markets is happening in the iconic Hyde Park yet again. So get out your stretchy pants again because there will be spicy noodles, dumplings and Korean BBQ all month long. If you can’t decide on what to eat, don’t worry you’ve got until the 21 October, so keep on coming back to get your dim sum fix. For more info, check this out.

When: Starts Thursday 4 October, 5-9pm
Where: Hyde Park, CBD
