Ah, poutine. A literal plate of heaven combining fries, cheese curds (drool) and gravy, we will never stop loving you. In news just in (and a classic ‘why didn’t we think of this’ moment) the legends over at Hartsyard have decided to combine the deliciousness of poutine, with the convenience of brunch (aka the highlight of our day) to deliver the best thing we’ve heard all week—too much? Didn’t think so.
For one glorious (and potentially dusty) Sunday, you can wrap your laughing gear around hot chips finished with fried eggs (that got your attention), beer (helloooo) and cheese sauce. There’ll also be lump crab on steamed buns, and hoecakes of salmon roe and crème fraiche. We know, pencil this in for cheat day and BYO stretchy pants.
Obviously the mandatory mimosas, bloody Marys and bellinis will all be there too, and because you need to somehow make it until 3pm, you’ll be able to drink your weight in bottomless (yes, we’re serious) filter coffee as well.
