Take a breath and sit yourself down because we’re about to tell you the damn best news we’ve heard all week. Cheese yum cha exists in Sydney. Yes, we’re serious and yes, we told you that you needed to sit down.
Rolling into Sydney for one day only (Bastille Day, obvs), you can now get your absolute fave dairy product straight off a cart and there’s no need to ever stand up again.
In celebration of all things French, The Song Kitchen in Surry Hills is putting on a cheese trolley overflowing with Beaufort Rhones alpes, Ossau Iraty Semi hard, Jacquin Le chevrefeuille crottin, Papillon Roquefort and Epoisses from Bourgogne. In other words, cheese yum cha. Because, cheese (or anything) on a trolley in our eyes is yum cha. End.
We just hope you can handle the cheese dreams.
