We Found Yoga Under The Sea

Just when you thought yoga classes couldn’t get any more zen, we’ve gone and found a yoga class under the sea. Now, in case you’re wondering, it’s basically a less cute but wayyyyy prettier (not to mention luxe AF) version of goat yoga, and we dig it.

It’s happening at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai, which makes sense since everything about this place is extra. Oh yeah, your water chakras will be all kinds of aligned after their 60-minute hatha yoga.

So this is the low down. You’re not technically in the water but you are surrounded by it. And lots of it. The yoga studio is in the resort's Lost Chambers Aquarium which is home to over 65,000 fish friends as well as some not-so-friendly (but totally safe from a distance) sea creatures like sharks, piranhas and eels. Oh so now you’re pleased that you won’t be in the actual water? We thought so.

The glow of the shimmering water is peaceful enough, even if you’re far from a yogi, to get your zen on, so swap your sun salutations for some aquatic acknowledgements (hmm doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, does it?).

For now, you’ll have to head over to Dubai to do underwater yoga—did someone say vacay? It’s time to gather the squad, who wouldn’t want to chaturanga with Nemo? Exactly.
